Mark Hayes - REFLECTIONS

Mark Hayes, a native of the Bronx, New York, grew up in the time of a generation of one of the most impactful music genres in the world of Hip Hop. Experiencing this art form from its inception, he noticed all of the different flavors of music that had influenced the art form such Jazz, Blues, Classical, and Funk. It began to influence his creative view point.  His interest in Art began at an very early age as he loved to draw, paint and model with clay.  His love for these art forms continued through to high school where he was placed in the Bridge to the Arts Program.  Mark’s exceptional talent in that program allowed for his artwork to be displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Mark’s talents excelled over the years and propelled him to become accepted to attend the prestigous School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he graduated with a degree in Advertising and Design. Mark continued to hone his unique creativity and held various creative positions at many of New Yorks Top Advertising and Design firms, before making his way to the city of Atlanta. In the early 2000s he continued to work with many worldwide corporate giants such as Coca Cola, Scientific Games Intl, and Georgia Power/Southern Company. Mark's creative works garnered him a number of design accolades and awards such as the Atlanta Marketer of the Year Award (AMY award), Georgia Power/EnergyStar "Change A Light Campaign, among many others.

Mark is also the Owner, and Cheif Creative Officer (CCO) of his Marketing and Design Firm Mark Hayes Creative.

His Fine Arts body of work called "REFLECTIONS", boasts a variety of unique paintings which are a combination of Spiritual, African American and Contemporary influences...... coming to a gallery soon...

Recently he had the honor of showcasing his artwork at MOREHOUSE COLLEGE.
